The default settings of the remote desktop are set for general use and works with most applications. However, sometimes it maybe necessary to adjust setting of the Remote Desktop for certain applications.
Adjusting Key Combinations
If the default key combination is interfering with a particular application’s key combination, you can change that here:
Open a terminal window.
Enter the command “xfwm4-tweaks-settings”
[demo5876@sci menus]$ xfwm4-tweaks-settings
Then click on the “Accessibility” tab.
Change the “Key used to grab and move windows” to something other than ‘ALT’ (none for example).
Adjusting Appearance
Care should be taken when adjusting these settings.
Open a terminal window.
Enter the command “xfce4-appearance-settings”
[demo5876@sci ~]$ xfce4-appearance-settings
