For example, a job that uses 8 cores and runs for 2 hours will consume 16 core-hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GB-Month<\/strong> &#8211; A 1GB unit of storage over a period of 1 calendar month. For example, 125GB of total data stored by a user for the month of May will consume 128GB-months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allocation<\/strong> &#8211; An allocation of core-hours (prepay or pay-as-you-go) or GB months (prepay or pay-as-you-go) associated with a user account (or group account). Customers with an active account will have at least one active allocation for core-hours and GB-months each calendar month. Pay-as-you-go allocations expire at the end of the month. They will automatically renew at the start of each month. Allocations start and end at midnight of the Start Date and End Date. <em>Note: If a job rolls into the next allocation period, its charge is split across the previous and new month&#8217;s allocation.<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>Commands<\/h4>\n<p><strong>mybalance<\/strong> will display your core-hour and GB-months balance per allocation and associated invoices.\u00a0Enter the\u00a0highlighted command below at the command-line of <a href=\"\/?p=135\">ssClient<\/a>\u00a0or in a terminal or select &#8220;Account Balance&#8221; from the Tool Box icon in the menu bar of the remote desktop.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 5px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"style1\" src=\"wp-content\/uploads\/mybalance.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Column Descriptions<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Id<\/strong>\u00a0A unique identification number \u00a0for the allocation. This id is used to find jobs associated with an allocation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Start<\/strong>\u00a0The date on which the allocation becomes active. Specifically, the allocation becomes active at the beginning (midnight) of this date, i.e. 00:00.<\/li>\n<li><strong>End Date<\/strong>\u00a0The date on which the allocation is no longer available. Specifically, the allocation is deactivated at the beginning (midnight) of this date, i.e. 00:00.<\/li>\n<li><strong>type<\/strong>\u00a0Describes the allocation as &#8220;payg&#8221; or pay-as-you-go, or &#8220;standard&#8221; for prepay allocation, and &#8220;term&#8221; for allocations with a term and expire (such as 1 month term)<\/li>\n<li><strong>resource<\/strong>\u00a0Is either gb_month (storage allocation) or core_hours\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Ordering, Billing, and Payment\" href=\"\/?p=1147\">gb_month<\/a>:\u00a0credit for GB-month. A GB-month is 1 GB of storage used over a given month. A 1 month (term) free credit is included each month.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Ordering, Billing, and Payment\" href=\"\/?p=1147\">core_hours<\/a>: either a positive or negative balance, updated about every 15 minutes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>class<\/strong>\u00a0Describes the allocation price class. Usually &#8220;standard&#8221; or &#8220;basic&#8221; tier pricing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Beginning<\/strong>\u00a0Beginning balance of the allocation<\/li>\n<li><b>Credits<\/b>\u00a0The core-hours initially purchased and credited to the allocation (if any).<\/li>\n<li><b>Debits<\/b>\u00a0The core-hours that have been charged by jobs including running jobs (updated every 15 minutes)<\/li>\n<li><b>Ending<\/b>\u00a0The core-hours that have been used beyond the Purchased amount. These core-hours will be billed at the end of the allocation period.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Description<\/strong>\u00a0 The invoice associated with the allocation will be described here.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>myusage<\/strong> provides job history details and jobs associated with allocations (for determining the jobs changed to an invoice). It has many powerful scripting options for automation and generating custom reports. By default it only displays usage for the current month. Select &#8220;Job History&#8221; from the Tool Box icon located in the menu bar or enter &#8220;myusage&#8221; and press enter. Note: if nothing is displayed, it means you have no jobs for the current month.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 5px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"style1\" src=\"wp-content\/uploads\/myusage.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>mybalance command options<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;mybalance&#8221; command displays your active allocations and recent allocation IDs and balance. Use mybalance to find invoices associated\u00a0 with allocations.<\/p>\n<p>Enter &#8220;mybalance&#8221; at the command line prompt.\u00a0<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<pre>mybalance<\/pre>\n<p>To email yourself a copy of the output<\/p>\n<pre>mybalance --email myemail@email.com<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To show mybalance allocations between two dates:<\/p>\n<pre>mybalance --start 01-01-2024 --end 05-01-2024<\/pre>\n<p>for a particular month:<\/p>\n<pre>mybalance --month march<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>for more details and advanced options:<\/p>\n<pre>mybalance --help<\/pre>\n<h4>myusage<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\">myusage<\/span> &#8211;\u00a0The \u201cmyusage\u201d command will display and generate usage reports. You can also email yourself the report.<\/p>\n<p>Enter this command:<\/p>\n<pre>myusage<\/pre>\n<p>To display all jobs that were charged to an allocation (first use the mybalance \u00a0to find the allocation &#8220;id&#8221; associated with the invoice).<\/p>\n<pre>myusage --allocation 1033<\/pre>\n<p>email the report in CVS format<\/p>\n<pre>myusage --allocation 1033 --email myemail@email.com<\/pre>\n<p>display over 500 jobs (500 is the limit by default. Find the a<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">llocation id<\/span> associated with the invoice. The allocation id is not the invoice number. In this example we want to use allocation id &#8220;1033&#8221; which is associated with invoice 2345.
